The new, versatile Percy

With its 640 mm scale this guitar adapts to any style of music. The powerful blade humbuckers used in the neck and middel positions are custom built by Harry Häussel. These provide plenty of punch or, switched to single-coil mode, plenty of twang.

Here comes the secial part: in the bridge position, we fitted a powerful Fernandes humbucker, paired with a driver for our modified sustainer circuit next to the neck pickup. Activating the sustainer circuit provides endless sustain. The humbucker´s signal is thus processed, and the driver feeds the string with its own vibration. The intensity and the amount of overtones can be controlled with a switch. This even works at low volume.

The bridge is equipped with piezo pickups delivering a convincing acoustic sound. This can be blended into the standard guitar output or sent to a separate output. The active electronics include volume, bass and treble controls, plus a pickup selector.

The neck is constructed of maple and cedar.
